Santa shuffle called off

Well, would you believe it..  After all the build up, the bowls of pasta & sports drinks, recruiting a support team, and the perfect sprinkling of snow for Santa and they cancel the race on us.  How could they do that to Santa?

After a pretty miserable couple of days coming to terms with the news and weather, the weekend brought something to look forward to.  An early Christmas with my sister, niece, nephews and brother in law on Saturday followed by the Santa Shuffle in Greenwich Park and pub lunch with friends on its successful completion on Sunday.  Bring on the Christmas spirit!

Matt handled the news as best he could but I could tell that deep down he was devastated.  Not one to disappoint my man, I enlisted the support of Santa's other little helper, Debbie, and we have secured a date in the diary for a 5 km spectacular, to be run in the New Year.  Fear not, for Matt will complete his 5 km!

Nothing more to do but spend the afternoon in the pub with mates.  It's scary how quickly time flies when you're surrounded by mates.  However what's even more scary is how "tweed" is now the hot topic of conversation!!!
