Spoilt rotten

Four lovely ladies just happen to have their birthdays in December/January - and inevitably they come and go, forgotten about in the lead up to Christmas and New Years resolutions.  So, we planned a girls only weekend in London, full of decadence and style.  Unfortunately the weeekend had to be rather curtailed and we settled on a day trip so I could still come down, catch up and make it back to Matt that evening.

It was an early start which I must admit I wasn't at all happy about, however it was definitely worth it as Rachel treated me to a heavenly massage.  Bliss.  Oh, to feel those knots in my shoulders being kneaded and proded was fanstastic.  We floated out of there with enough time for a spot of sale shopping before meeting up with the girls.  After meeting up it was a flurry of corks popping, present swapping and cameras flashing.  Good times.  Unfortunately time went by all too quickly and before I knew it I was running to catch my train and then struggling to stay awake so I didn't miss the Banbury stop - oh to be able to stay awake past 10 and handle more than a glass of wine!!!

Now it's time for me to get the old sat nav out as I head down to Heathrow to pick my brother up.  I emailed to say we've adopted a dog and the next thing I know he's booked a flight over to the UK for a week!
