Walks and weddings

How good was it to wake up this morning and be able to roll over and snooze for a bit.  Surely this is why weekends were invented.  To top it off, there was even a glimmer of sun creeping in through the window.  Can it get any better?  Full of the joys of the weekend, we took Syra on the Deddington Loop walk - through fields, past lovely, friendly horses, some very wary cows and startlingly slipped and slid over a cattle grid.  Syra's been a brilliant motivator to get us out and about at the weekends and we've decided 2011 is going to be a year of walking.  The aim is to complete the following walks to raise money for charity:  3 Peaks Challenge, El Camino de Santiago and if at all possible, Kilimanjaro.  Watch this space for more details - one way or another the walking will be done.

Another bit of very exciting news - five years after the stress and traumas of planning our wedding, we're finally invited to a wedding.  This time I fully intend to kick back, relax and enjoy the day to the mostest.  Oh, but as the wedding's in May, that means it could be really really hot or it could be pouring with rain.  I thought attending the wedding was meant to be stress free!  What's a girl to do?  Only 76 more days to find suitable hat, dress and shoes - better start looking quick!!!
