May mamoth marathon

To think that this time last year we were spending the May Bank Holiday weekend dodging rain drops and reliving history in Berlin. A year on and we're still dodging rain drops but this year Banbury's hosting us.

It feels like May has been a mamoth marathon - a never ending to do list testing both mental and physical stamina. I feel drained and exhausted but unlike the marathon, I don't feel an overwhelming sense of achievement. The worst part is, it feels like the finishing line is still a way off in the distance and I have to keep on keeping on for a bit longer yet.

I guess there's nothing for it but to start thinking about where we're going to be next May Bank holiday. If I've got anything to do with it, it certainly won't be Banbury and it had better not be raining!!!
