Sharing the pain!

Another day, another charity run - this time with Team Chadwick.  This time round we had 4 runners, 4 supporters and 2 cars!  Unfortunately Matt and nana couldn't join us - Mal was suffering with a cold and we have to be so careful that Matt doesn't get sick while he's on chemo.

We were due to leave Stourbridge at 1430 however the runner from the previous leg didn't make it in to Stourbridge until 1525.  Cousin Tom started us off and wound his way through Stourbridge and Dudley, up and down hills, swerving in and out of traffic.  I then took over for yet another horribly hilly leg.  Just as well the hill was at the beginning as I was knackered by the time I made my way in to Wolverhampton.  Team navigator, Mal, had printed me off a map of Wolverhampton and explained the route to me but I still managed to take the scenic route and did a full tour of the university!  Luke took over from me and despite straining his calf after 2 miles, he cracked on out of Wolverhampton and into the countryside.  Cousin Gemma took over for the final leg and didn't even break as sweat as she brought Team Chadwick in to the changeover point in a sweet 3 hours 45 mins.
