Occupational health equipment

We had a visit from Occupational Health yesterday so they could measure to put a stair rail in for Matt.  Our already rather narrow stairs are about to get even narrower.  We'll also be getting a shower stall and some rather snazy foam grips to go on cuttlery to help Matt hold them in his right hand.  You don't appreciate full mobility until it's taken away from you.  Suddenly the simplest tasks like doing buttons or shoes laces up, holding a plate in one hand and eating a sandwich in the other become frustrating, complex chores.  My man's not getting down about it though.   They're just challenges to make you stronger.

I'm really missing Matt at the moment.  He's still in Birmingham, staying with James.  I started back at work yesterday so headed back to Banbury after the run on Tuesday.  All going well Matt will come back to Banbury on Saturday.  So far Matt hasn't had any negative reactions to the chemo so fingers crossed he goes the full 6 weeks without any reactions.  Stay strong babe.
