Number one priority

I saw a text Matt sent to his mum yesterday which was a bit like a slap in the face.  I worked from home yesterday and Matt texted his mum saying it was nice to have Kris at home all day - a rarity these days.  Ouch.  What with working long hours, running errands and walking the dog, I guess it does mean that Matt's at home by himself a lot these days.

I was up and out the house early this morning to set up for the Programme Directors Forum today however I couldn't concentrate and all I wanted was to be at home with Matt.  As a result, pretty much no sooner than I arrived at work I made my apologies and headed back home again.

I'm really pleased I did as Matt said he felt really awful again this morning.  If I were in Matt's position, there's no way I'd want to go through what he's going through by myself.  Just so you know babe, you're my priority and I'm here for you.  You and me.
