Feeling the love

It's been a weekend of catching up with good friends that we haven't seen in far too long...  We really appreciate those epic journeys to come and visit us.  (Mr Martin, I feel your pain having to listen to Jester rant his way around the M25.)  Now you've done it once, there's no excuse not to do it again!

Yesterday Matt was treated to an afternoon in the company of 3 of his university mates.  All of them top, top blokes but each with their own story of what life has thrown at them since the heady days of university in Bradford.  It's like they've got their own competition going on - when one goes down with something, someone else will top it.  Listening to their stories, despite everything life has thrown at them, it's inspiring to hear about all their achievements and how successful they all are.  Needless to say, the afternoon was full of reminiscing over the good old days (as old men are want to do), laughter, and, way too much food and drink.

Matt woke this morning with a warm glow in his heart from feeling all the love and a warm glow in his belly from all that alcohol!
