Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas - can't believe it's been and gone already.  I've been far too busy enjoying catching up with friends and family, eating, drinking and relaxing that the days have flown by.

We packed the mini full to brimming on Christmas Eve and headed up to Birmingham to spend Christmas at Nana's with Mal, Jenni and family.  The tree, all pretty and twinkling in the corner of the lounge at nana's oozed that cozy Christmas feeling and the heavenly smells of cooking coming from the kitchen gave you the comforting feeling that you were home and it was going to be a good Christmas.

On Christmas Day nan's was full to bursting with 6 Chadwicks, 4 Foleys, nana, 3 dogs and 2 puppies!  Some things never change - Bucks Fizz in the morning, turning  into straight champagne shortly after and then it's all downhill!  After a full on festive feast it wasn't long before I asleep on the sofa...

Santa gave Matt 3 tickets to see Villa v Tottenham on Boxing Day so Matt, Sheila and I headed off to Villa Park where we revelled in the atmosphere but disappointingly watched Villa succumb to a 4 nil beating.  Matt thoroughly enjoyed seeing Villa play live, the atmosphere of the stadium, and the health to be able to make it to the match.  A very merry Christmas indeed.

Merry Christmas!
