Cancer Voices, Macmillan

Bored with audio books, championship manager and Sky plus, Matt wanted to do something to help and he stumbled upon Macmillan's Cancer Voices.  He joined up and was asked to review Johns Hopkins book Patients' Guide to Brain Cancer

Unfortunately Matt's been unable to read for the past year now - his reading is done via audio books.  I contacted the lady at Macmillan to explain, and as a result, I've now joined Cancer Voices!  It's a great resource where you can share stories, get involved in research and campaign for a better quality of life for those affected by cancer.

Matt and I owe so much to Macmillan - his two nurses, Claire and Fred are absolute stars - just a phone call away.  Matt's treated like a person by them, not just another hospital case.  Their online information and booklets have been incredibly informative and we've also been fortunate enough to receive a Macmillan grant

You can choose how much or how little you want to be involved in cancer voices, but the way I look at it, you've got nothing to loose by joining it so why not?!
