Oncology: post chemo scan results

It's good news folks!  My last cycle of Docetaxel chemotherapy was on Wednesday 15 August 2018.  Yesterday my oncologist gave me the results from my MRI, ultra-sound and CT scans post treatment...  The tumour in my right boob has continued to shrink and the CT scan of my back and pelvis showed everything was stable. 🙌🙌🙌

That means that, despite the infection last week, everything should still be on track for my lumpectomy next Wednesday, 3 October.

💊 I was also able to ask about the drugs that had been recommended post surgery - Palbociclib and Letrozole.  It turns out that I wouldn't have the Palbociclib as I'm still having three weekly doses of Trastuzumab (Herceptin) and also my tumour is HER2 positive.  I would most likely be given Letrozole, in tablet form, but this will all be decided post surgery by the clinical oncology team at Guy's Hospital.
