So, so tired

I can't believe how tired I've been since my release from hospital.  I was itching to get out of hospital, planning to catch up on my lost week and enjoy my freedom until the next onslaught - surgery on 3 October.  However, much to my chagrin, I've ended up cancelling appointments and catch ups and have been sleeping like a baby, with lengthy afternoon naps and then tucking myself back into bed, exhausted at 7 pm!

I'm still taking oral antibiotics, however fatigue isn't listed as one of the side effects so I'm not sure what's brought this lingering lethargy on.

To add insult to injury, I had to have another PICC line inserted yesterday.  I wasn't looking forward to it as it means I need to go back to being super careful about it not getting wet, keeping it free from infection with weekly flushes and dressing changes.  Thankfully my previous PICC had given my no trouble, so you can imagine my distress to find bleeding around the insertion site when I got home yesterday evening.  Not a fan of blood, I decided to give Acute Oncology a quick call however was reassured that this was normal and would be cleaned up when I came in for treatment on Wednesday.
