Christmas countdown

Three more sleeps until I'm on the plane heading back to NZ, not that I'm counting or anything!

Last year I was able to arrange treatment back in NZ but this year, because of the timings of my treatment, I won't be able to so I'll have a gap of 5 weeks between treatments.  The oncologist seemed to think this would be fine, here's hoping he's right.

With the countdown on, there's still so much I need to do.  I haven't thought about packing yet - well, not clothes packing, the Christmas treats are currently taking up most of the suitcase!  I'm also desperately trying to shake off a cold - I can feel it threatening so I'm gargling salt water and eating mandarins every moment I get, not great when I have treatment on Wednesday.   On Thursday I have a routine scan for the bone cancer and then I have my pre op for the breast surgery in February.

Thankfully I've booked Friday off, so I've got Friday to pack before I leave for the airport at 1630!
