Globetrotting with cancer


A few years ago I was at a friends house and noticed a poster of "100 places to visit before you die".  We discussed where each of us had been and then my friend said, "even if you visit two or three a year it'll take over 30 years to see them all".  That made me stop and think - I was in my 30's already.  If I was going to visit these places, I'd better do something about it.  Always up for a challenge, I made a New Years Resolution to visit three new countries a year.


As of January 2020, I've lived and worked in five countries (New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Japan, Italy (Sicily) and England) and have visited 57.  That leaves 139 countries to explore...
