Six weeks post surgery

April Fools Day 2020 and I'm now six weeks post op.  I have full movement of my left arm - much more so than the right arm as no lymph nodes were taken out on the left side.  The best news however is that I no longer have to wear sports bras 24/7.  Sweet relief!

My wounds are healing nicely - almost fully healed.  From what they were like post op, the scarring really isn't too bad.  I've been using Neal's Yard Organic Rosehip Oil on the scar tissue and, timed to perfection, I used the last of it this morning.  It's a great, natural, product.

Once the wounds were fully healed, I was hoping to get back swimming and doing low impact cardio.  However, as I'm only in week 2 of my 12 week lockdown, I guess it will be a while before I head to the local pool.

To try and incorporate some exercise into my daily routine, but being mindful that I'm in a flat with neighbours below me, I've been doing some yoga - Trekstock cancer rehab yoga and Yoga with Adrienne.  Despite not doing any cardio, my knee is still painful so, rather than taking copious amounts of codeine,  I've started using George Botanicals CBD balm.  It seems to be doing the trick as it's not as sore as it was.  I'm also a fan of Better You Magnesium Gel to help stop the leg cramps I've been getting since taking Tamoxifen.
